Where we began.
We know that our members are key to our success.
Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club was formed in 1982 as a small group of riders interested in going out on group rides and enjoying the company of like minded individuals.
Fast forward to today and you will find a tight knit group of members who have grown in numbers and responsibilities. Today we maintain over 80 miles of snowmobile trails, along with a host of equipment to do so. We have partnered with the Michigan DNR to not only groom the trails during riding season but also to keep the edges of trails brushed clean during the summer months as well as maintaining all trail signage.
